ProspectusIT looking for another OI developer

ProspectusIT are once again in talks with one of our VARs about an application developer position that has come up (see position posting below).  Whilst most OpenInsight developers are settled in positions, I know that there are good MultiValue developers with skills is other flavours of the technology who would welcome this opportunity.

If you are a MultiValue developer or a software developer/contractor looking for your next position, please contact me and I’ll be pleased to discuss how you can get into the Revelation world and involved with OpenInsight – the learning curve is not that hard for experienced MultiValue developers.

ProspectusIT can be contacted via http://www.prospectus.co.uk/contact.

RevSoft News Launches on YouTube.

Hi Guys,

RevSoftNews YouTube Channel
RevSoft News YouTube Channel

Just a little heads up about a new YouTube channel that I have created called RevSoftNews.

This channel will be used to host short videos with news from around the Revelation community.  That includes news about Revelation events, product updates, VAR and OpenInsight users news and more.

This new media channel for distributing RevSoft news compliments and adds to my personal blog, the RevUS newsletters on revelation.com and the other various news distribution methods. I hope that this approach will provide you with a relaxed way of getting your news (much like watching news on the tv) in addition to the traditional (now electronic) paper style newsletter.

Please use the comments below to let me know what you think.

RUG and O4W Training day

Last week we hosted two events in London.  The first was the RUG during which Mike ran through the state of the company and the many new features contained in 9.3.  Given the spread of versions in use by attendees (7.x, 8.x and 9.x), we also reviewed many of the other key benefits
that have been delivered throughout the 9.x series.  The second day was given over to a deeper look at O4W, with the wizards and the API both reviewed.

Prospectus have created a short three minute video that touches on the highlights of the RUG.  Please click here to review the video.

Finally, I would like to thank everyone who helped me to put the two days together and to also thank everyone who joined us in London and who helped to make both days such a success.  I have received a large amount of very positive feedback and a good number of items for the OpenInsight wish list.
